Gerald Taylor
Gerald Taylor was a local business owner from 1960 until his death in 2018. He was involved in many local community projects and organizations, and he headed the airport board as Chairman from 1985-2003. Taylor served on planning and zoning committees and always gave generously to local causes.
Taylor was also instrumental in keeping Mountain West Bank as a viable entity during some rough transition years. He was also a part of the Taylor Automotive group expansion that occurred between 2004 and 2015.
Taylor received recognition in the Granite Pillar Society at BYU, and he was the President of the Rexburg Rotary Club. Taylor left a lasting legacy with his support of Ricks College – and later Brigham Young University- Idaho.
As a Madison High School student, Gerald enjoyed playing basketball, and he made many lasting friendships. His hobbies included playing golf, traveling, investing, and spending time with his family.
All of his children attended Madison schools.
